Privacy Policy

Prepz ("we", "us") is a personal learning platform that helps students from 1st to 12th grade study smarter. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

By creating an account and using Prepz, you agree to the practices described here. If you are under 16, your parent or guardian must consent before we collect any data about you.

Account data: your name, email address, grade level, and selected school system.

Study data: materials you upload (photos, files, pasted text, audio, video), generated lessons, practice answers, flashcards, grades, and study-progress records.

Usage data: how you interact with the app — sessions completed, time studied, and feature usage patterns used to improve your experience.

Billing data: processed by Stripe (our payment provider). We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles all payment information securely.

To personalize your lessons, practice questions, flashcards, and study plans based on your grade, subjects, and mastery level.

To send you study reminders, deadline alerts, and weekly progress reports (you can control these in Settings).

To process subscription payments and manage your plan via Stripe.

To improve the platform: aggregated, anonymized usage patterns help us refine content and features.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, including materials, grades, and conversation history.

Anonymous, aggregated data may be retained for analytics but cannot be linked back to you.

Stripe: handles all billing and subscription management. Stripe receives your payment details directly — we only receive confirmation of payment status. See stripe.com/privacy.

AI provider: your uploaded study materials and questions are sent to our AI processing partner to generate lessons, practice, and summaries. The provider processes this data to return results and does not use it to train models on your personal content.

You have the right to access your data, export it in a portable format, and request its deletion.

Use Settings → "My data" to export all your data as a downloadable file or permanently delete your account and everything associated with it.

You may also request correction of inaccurate data or object to certain processing. Contact us at any time to exercise these rights.

If you are under 16, we require parental or guardian consent before collecting any data. During onboarding, we ask for a parent's email and send them a confirmation link. No data is stored until consent is granted.

Parents may request access to, export of, or deletion of their child's data at any time.
